Key Ring with Inlay made in New Mexico USA
These handcrafted one-of-a-kind western and southwestern key chains / key rings are purchased directly from the owner and crafter--LMN Turquoise of Albuquerque, New Mexico, so are "made in USA", "made in America"--actually "made in New Mexico". Owner Larry S. hand cuts each piece of exotic wood, mother of pearl (or abalone), turquoise, or other gemstone (such as rainbow calsilica--the multi-colored striped stone). He has been in this business for over twenty years right here in New Mexico, and he only buys the brass blanks. This is a great gift idea for the guy (or gal, who are we to be prejudiced! : ) who has everything or is hard to buy for.
The triangular key chains measure approx. 2" long (not counting the ring) x 1" at the top. They are the thicker of the two types of key rings, measuring approx. 1/8" not counting where the ring is attached, where it's about 1/4" thick. These bases will not be breaking off on you! The rectangular ones are still very solidly built for decades of use. They measure about 7/8" wide and over 1 1/2" long not counting the ring. You can see that the hasp to attach the key ring itself to is very durable.
Some examples of the exotic woods used are wenge, kingwood, rosewood, zebra wood Guatamalan rosewood, paduk, ebony and black palm. These make excellent gifts for the person who appreciates southwestern apparel and western styles with a desire for genuine exotic hardwoods and turquoise or mother of pearl or other inlaid stones.
Each comes with a card reading "LNM Turquoise is a small Albuquerque company owned and operated by artisan Larry S*, who purchases the stone chunks or slabs, pieces of Mother of Pearl, and blocks of exotic wood and then hand-cuts each piece and inlays it for unique one-of-a-kind money clips, key rings, bolo ties and knives. LNM Turquoise is a wholesaler only, and one of the few places on the internet you can purchase one of these handcrafted New Mexico-made items is from www.new-mexico-online.com, a Truth or Consequences, NM small business operating since 2006. 575-894-7591 or 575-740-3889"
