Pueblo Indian Native American made Necklaces with Turquoise
All but one of these genuine Native American made turquoise necklaces were hand-made by Aaron Calabaza and Victoria Lucero, who were born and raised at the Santo Domingo Pueblo near Santa Fe, New Mexico. Both their parents were/are jewelry artisans, too. I have been marketing this couple's jewelry and paying them directly since 2006.
If you just "hover" over the small photos at the bottom, a description should pop up. To see the price of each item, select it in the area to the right of the big photo. They start at $68.48 and none are over $200.00.
Minor imperfections in the turquoise are natural to this style of Native American Indian jewelry making. Enlarge the photos to get a good look at everything. Pricing reflects varying craftsmanship and stones.
One necklace has genuine turquoise stabelized turquoise nuggets, abalone, and the heishi beads that the Pueblo Peoples are known for. It measures 22" long and would make an excellent gift for that special person in your life.
Just over 18" long is the one with the hand-carved "White Buffafo Turquoise" (natural howlite) turtle and genuine turquoise necklace with Heishi beads; the turtle hangs down 2" from the center.
The one with the "Greek" cross (equal lengths on all sides) measure 19" and the cross hangs down about 1.5".
The pearl and turquoise double-strand measures 25" long.
Both the Carnelian and Turquoise and the 2-strand Cerrillos Turquoise necklaces measure 24" long.
The 24" long necklace with trapezoid shaped stones and earrings is magnesite dyed a green-blue (more green than blue) turquoise.
The one with the trapezoid shaped pendant was made by Rosita Curley of Arizona and measures about 20" and the pendant is about an inch long.
With the permission and blessing of the artisans, each of these pieces come with a card reading "Native American crafted: This jewelry piece was crafted by Aaron Calabaza and Victoria Lucero, full blood American Indians from Santo Domingo Pueblo, New Mexico. Found at CELESTIAL CREATIONS Enchanted Gifts of New Mexico Truth or Consequences." The Rosita Curley piece will have a card saying it was crafted by her instead.
If the necklace is going to a different shipping addres, we will automatically put it in a gold or silver jewelry box. Otherwise, please request one in "notes" if you want your necklace in a jewelry box.
