Shipping & Returns

ORDERS OF IN-STOCK ITEMS ARE BEING SHIPPED WITHIN 2 BUSINESS DAYS, DEPENDING ON TIME OF DAY RECEIVED.  IF YOU ORDER A "CUSTOM-MADE ITEM" WE WILL NOTIFY YOU AS SOON AS WE SPEAK WITH THE ARTISAN OF THE LATEST SHIPPING DATE YOU CAN EXPECT, AND THEN NOTIFY YOU AGAIN WHEN IT'S SHIPPED, AND PROVIDE YOU WITH A TRACKING #.  (For example, all Whispering Prairies Ceramics are ordered from the artisan when you order and she may or may not have one already made and available.)  If unacceptable, your money will be fully refunded promptly.

ALL ITEMS WILL BE SHIPPED AT THE SAME TIME TO DEFRAY SHIPPING COSTS.

OUR SHIPPING POLICY.  We make every effort to keep the website up to date, but if for any reason we cannot fulfill any or all of your order, our liability is limited to a full refund of your purchase amount and shipping, if any was charged to you.  We will hold all items to be shipped at the same time, in the event we have to wait to fulfill any portion of your order.  We will notify you if there will be a delay in shipping your order of more than 3 days unless that info is prominently displayed in numerous places on the website.  (We are a small hands-on two-person shop and sometimes close up for a time for road trips.  We always post when orders will be shipped at the top of this page highlighted in yellow if we will not be shipping until after a certain date.)

 

OUR CHECKOUT IS SECURE!  We use paypal, securenet and GeoTrust for your checkout.  We never have access to your credit card number. 

 

Shipping Costs

We are proud to offer FREE SHIPPING to the continental (48) US states on orders of $75 or more total!  There is a flat $10 fee ADDED for orders to Alaska, Hawaii, Mexico and Canada and $10 for international destinations.  Should you have any questions, PLEASE do not give up, but contact us by phone or email:  orders.celestialcreations@gmail.com with 'shipping cost inquiry' in subject line or phone 575-894-7591 OR 575-740-3889.

To estimate your shipping costs prior to reaching the FREE SHIPPING threshold (or if the shipping destination doesn't qualify for free shipping), click on 'view cart' where you will see a box to enter your zip code and find out your shipping based on the items in your cart at that time.  Once you have added enough products to your cart to total MORE than the minimum amount for FREE SHIPPING, that box will not show. Instead, at the top of your cart, it will say "You qualify for free shipping."


Due to the one-of-a-kind and made-to-order nature of our merchandise, as well as the fact that most of it comes from individuals or very small businesses, if we are unable to fulfill your entire order, we will contact you and give you available options for your order.  Our liablility is limited to a refund of the purchase price and shipping paid (if any) if we are unable to fulfill all or part of your order.  If the portion of your order which we cannot fulfill brings your total down to less than $75, we will still pay the shipping on the remainder of your order, should you wish us to provide partial fulfillment.  We apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause and will make every effort to let you know as soon as possible if we cannot fulfill any part of your order within two business days.

Shipping costs do not show up on the 'checkout' page until after other info is entered.  Go back to 'view cart' to see shipping costs.  PLEASE let us know if you have problems, questions or suggestions!  We pride ourselves on superior customer service in our brick and mortar shop and want to be sure you get the same service.

Returns Policy

We stand by the merchandise we offer.  We want you to be happy!  You may return most (non-food) items within 10 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within two weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (2-4 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.  We do not pay for return shipping, just as you would not receive money for time and gas used in driving to a shop to return an item.  OUR RETURN ADDRESS IS "BEST OF NEW MEXICO ONLINE, 107 W 2ND AVE., TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES, NM 87901".  YOU MUST CONTACT US PRIOR TO SENDING YOUR ITEM TO US!!!

Other Shipping Info

We don't pretend to be a large company with thousands (or even dozens) of employees.  We pride ourselves on being a woman-owned USA small business, offering unusual items, many hand-crafted, even one-of-a-kind, that cannot be found easily or at all elsewhere.  That being said, we ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.

When you place an order, we will estimate shipping costs until your order gets to $75, after which YOU WILL RECEIVE FREE SHIPPING if you live in one of the 48 contiguous United States!  We will generally ship within 48 hours of receiving your order by either UPS, FedEx or USPS, depending on the size and weight of your total order.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items we sell are weight-based. The weight of any such item (including packaging) can be found on its detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.

We reserve the right to ship by whatever means we feel is most appropriate and economical, UNLESS you have PAID EXTRA for special shipping.  We usually actually ship by USPS, that being the most cost-effective and convenient in our small town of 8,000 people.
