Tiny Ceramic Wind Chimes
House of Chimes is a husband and wife-owned business with just a couple of part-time employees, located in the tiny town of Organ, New Mexico outside of Las Cruces. They have been in business for over 30 years and wholesale only. We are the ONLY place to find their New Mexico-made goods online! Each item is individually hand-poured, fired and decaled right on site. Truly a small-craft American business.
House of Chimes Wind Chimes have been tested right in the owners' own back yard for up to 70 mile per hour winds, snow, rain and just about any other weather condition tested you can think of. You can put House of Chimes Wind Chimes in your dishwasher to clean them or just soap and water in the sink. Don't use the DRY cycle on the dishwasher, though, it might shorten the life of the cord; and make sure they are not going to bump up against another item while in there.
This chime measures 2" in width, 3" tall (10" with full strand in Height), and 2" in depth.

Here is what House of Chimes has to say about their products and process:
Our products are designed to stand up to the rigors of harsh desert exposure. We make our own clay, we pour our own molds. Each piece must dry for at least 24 hours, is then cleaned by hand and fired for the first time. They are then glazed, by hand, and fired again. Any special decals are then applied and the item is fired for a third time. Only then is the item complete and is ready for final assembly and shipping. Each firing takes 6 hours of baking time and 18 hours of cooling time, so you can see that each individual piece take about 4 days to complete.
